Attention all Rugby 7's players. There is a very brief meeting in room 341 today at the start of lunch. This is an important meeting before our tournament on Wednesday. That's 7's players, room 341 at the start of lunch.

Games night is here for the students of the music program.  See you after school in the cafe!

Groovy Tuesday group members please touch base with Matthie at lunch its a quick conversation.

Big Congratulations goes out to our Cross Country team for their outstanding performance at our first meet last week! Everyone involved showed their support and team spirit as they ran their first races of the season.  Special mention for two of our newest runners to the team; Daniel G. in the Sr Boys division, who had an excellent finish for his first race in a highly competitive field of racers.  But another huge shout out goes to our Novice Racer Zoe H. who placed 4th overall in what was an amazing performance and one of our best results for OSS in recent history!  So proud of all of our athletes!!!

 Bring your runners and your team spirit tonight- practice is at 2:30.

Grade 12 Students,

Tomorrow (Tuesday September 26th)

the University of Guelph will be visiting at 1:00 pm in the Guidance Office.

Remember to check in with your  teacher before coming down.

All Junior Boys Soccer Players are to be at the field and ready to warm up at 2:30.  Quickly change at the end of the day and be ready for our first game of the season.  See Mr. Bard if you have not already picked up your uniform.

Aaniin, Saturday September 30th, 2023, is National Truth and Reconciliation Day. (Every Child Matters )  On this day, we acknowledge the painful history, the impact of residential schools, the trauma, and the children who survived and those who didn't and those that are still impacted today. 

 On Thursday September 28th, 2023, OSS is honoring National Truth and Reconciliation day with a traditional opening, smudge, sacred fire and drum circle behind the school from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

We encourage everyone to wear an orange shirt to bring awareness and attention to the painful history and impact of residential schools.


 Attention Choir members!  This is a reminder that we will be having an additional rehearsal today at lunch beginning at 11:00.  Please remember your music and bring a pencil.

HUGS is meeting today at lunch in room 309.  HUGS is a group dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. All are welcome.  Looking forward to seeing you today at lunch in room 309.
