Good Morning OSS,  today during the lunch hour is the Andaayang Drum Program.  Special guest, Brian Sarazin we be at OSS sharing traditional drum teachings and drumming.This will be taking place in the Andaayang. All are welcome.

Good luck to the boys basketball teams today in playoffs! Seniors play Bear Creek. Juniors play Banting.

Boozhoo, OSS student, next Tuesday February 13th , during second period in the library we will have special guest, Chenoa Lecaille who is a Black and Indigenous person coming to talk and share her experiences as part of acknowledgement for black history month.

Any rugby players that missed yesterday's meeting can complete the Google form using the QR code outside of the physical education office. If you have any questions see Mr. Loney.

Mino Ghizheb OSS,  students who have permission forms for next Friday's February 16th trip to Enaahtig, please have your signed permission forms returned to Shawn in the Andaayang by Monday February 12th.   Than you for your understanding.

Aaniin OSS, the Pathways Indigenous Cultural Program will be offering a hand drum making workshop next Tuesday February 13th, 2024 after school from 2:30pm to 4:30pm in the Andaayang.  

 Space is limited, so please sign up in the Andaayang

 Music students part of the Chicago trip are reminded to sign up for the rooming list TODAY by the END OF LUNCH TIME– these have to be submitted at the end of the day today

Congrats to the girls hockey team for their 4-0 win yesterday against Innisdale. Goal scorers included: Zoe H., Ava M., Tori S. and Lexi E.

The girls are asked to check the google classroom later today for confirmation of their games next week. 

A reminder that the Black Excellence Club, is meeting today at lunch, in room 304.

The Nordic ski team finally got its second official race of the season yesterday at Mountainview ski centre in Midland.  It was a mild day, which made for fast, icy conditions.  Congratulations to all racers.  Performance of the day goes to Grant M. who finished 5th in the Jr boys high school race.  The team will compete at the GB championship next Wednesday in Huntsville.  Good luck!
