Thank you to all the girls that came out to the first Jr girls volleyball tryouts last week. This is a reminder that there will be a list posted on the door of room 343 by lunch time of those invited back for tryout #2 that takes place tomorrow after school.

Students attending the free dance field trip this week are reminded to return their field trip forms to Mrs. MacMillan ASAP.

There is an important swim team meeting at lunch today in the health room 125. See swimmers there!

Mino Ghizhep OSS,  today, Elder Jeff Mah-nag will be here during Period 4 to share his experiences as an Indigenous Veteran.  November 16th is Louis Riel Day.

This Wednesday, Scott Carpenter will be at OSS to talk about Metis people and Metis culture during period 2 in the library. Everyone is welcome. Students interested in attending these events should sign up in the front office or in the Andaayang.

Grade 12 students:  Reminder, Laurentian University is here in the Guidance Office at 8:00 am this morning, please check in with your teacher before coming down.

Tomorrow Fleming College will be visiting the Guidance Office at 1:00 pm

 Just a reminder that the November Edition of "The Scholar Report" is in the Guidance office and hundreds more scholarships and Bursaries are there to be capitalized upon. Don't miss out!

 Also, the Queen's University Chancellor's Award applications are due to the OSS Guidance Office on Wednesday of this week. If you plan to apply and attend Queen's University, this opportunity may be for you. Application Forms are still available in the Guidance Office.

Any senior girls interested in trying out for senior girls volleyball, tryouts this week are Monday and Wednesday at 2:30.

HUGS is meeting today at lunch in room 309.  HUGS is a group dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. All are welcome.  Looking forward to seeing you today at lunch in room 309.
