There will be a quick multicultural club meeting at the start of lunch in room 326 to discuss our Friday plans. Again, Multicultural club will be meeting briefly in room 326 at the start of lunch.

Chess tournament is today! Those that signed up previously will be asked to go to room 134! If you did not sign up go to room 134 for the chess tournament!

Mino Ghizheb OSS, a reminder that today is the Andaayang drum program during the lunch hour in room 222.    Traditional drummer and singer, Brian Sarazin will be here sharing his traditional knowledge and drum teachings.  

All are welcome.

Yesterday, the OSS swim team competed at the GBSSA championships. Along with many personal bests, the Sr and Jr Girls Freestyle relays both qualified for OFSSA as well as individual qualifications from Evie C. and Ava E. The Jr. girls finished 3rd place in overall standings, while the Sr. girls finished 2nd overall. 

Congrats on a fantastic season swimmers! There will be a meeting next Monday in the health room. 

 WOW -- It was a packed house yesterday for the Winter Concert!  A HUGE  congratulations to ALL of the musicians who took part in this great showcase of your talents!!!! 

 From beginner musicians who just started on their instruments in September to the more experienced folks who are now in grade 11 & 12 -- it was fabulous from start to finish!

 A special thank you to our AMAZING TEAR DOWN CREW -- the dedicated folks who stayed right till the end to ensure everything was put back together was very much appreciated!

 Just a reminder that there will NOT be any WEDNESDAY evening Rehearsals today =- therefore no Intermediate Stage Band, Sax ensemble, Hawks Jazz or Senior Concert Band -- we WILL see you NEXT WEEK!

Hey OSS,  did you know that to make the cotton for one single t shirt you need over 400 gallons on water? To cut down on clothing production you can repurpose clothing! it's called upcycling! Come down to the front foyer on Friday the 15th at lunch to take part in an easy upcycling workshop!

OSS is looking for students interested in joining a Mental Health and Wellbeing student group partnered with Jack.org

Any students who are interested in starting and being involved in Mental Health and Wellbeing initiatives in our school please come to the Guidance Conference room on December 14th at lunch.
