Semi-formal is Friday November 3rd, 2023.

Tickets are available on school cash online.

Pre-purchased tickets will be available for pick-up starting this Wednesday October 25th AT LUNCH ONLY in the main office.

YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED YOUR STUDENT ID TO PICK UP YOUR SEMI-FORMAL TICKET.

Student ID cards will be available this Monday and Tuesday AT LUNCH ONLY.

Good morning Grade 12 Students,  Tomorrow visiting in the Guidance Office is St. Francis Xavier University (from Nova Scotia) at 1:30 pm

On Thursday, the Sr. Girls Flag Football team was eliminated from the playoffs with a heartbreaking lost.  Mr. Newman and Mr. Lapointe would like to thank all the players for their efforts this season.  A special thank you to our graduating players for your commitment over the years.

A reminder to book club that we will meet Thursday at lunch to chat about The Martian. If you haven't yet picked up your copy it's not too late! Pop by room 311 to see Mrs Williamson. 

This is an important announcement for all students who are part of the Arts & Culture SHSM, Music Arts & Entertainment program.  

Each person needs to see Mrs Matthie today to pick up a permission form.

Wednesday evening concert band members are asked to check their emails and respond to the survey.

There will be a swim team meeting in the Health room at the start of lunch today. Room 125. See swimmers there!

The grade 10 /11 drama class is producing a funny play called "10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse" on October 25th at 6 pm in the drama room. All are welcome to attend this free event - just in time for Halloween.

Boozhoo OSS students, this Wednesday, October 25th, is the Andaayang Youth Drum Program during the lunch hour in the Andaayang 222.   Come out and learn traditional drum teachings and drumming.   Special guest, Indigenous Community member, Brian Sarazin will be here sharing his traditional knowledge.

Aaniin OSS Indigenous students, as a reminder, please have your permission forms for the Low ropes course at the Education Centre taking place on November 1st, completed, signed and returned to Shawn in the Andaayang before  Friday October 27th .

Mino Ghizhep OSS,  a reminder, that the Aboriginal Post-Secondary Information Program ( APSIP) will be at OSS this Thursday, October 26th, 2023, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the OSS Cafeteria.

The Aboriginal  Post-Secondary Information Program is a collective of over 20 colleges, universities and educational institutions.  The program enhances awareness of education opportunities for Indigenous learners through empowering individuals to pursue post-secondary education.

Indigenous Students interested in attending, please sign up in the guidance office.

HUGS is meeting today at lunch in room 309.  HUGS is a group dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. All are welcome.  Looking forward to seeing you today at lunch in room 309.
