Good Morning Nighthawks, did you know that green bins will be reinstated within the school cafeteria? Composting reduces more than 50% of GHG emissions, making it an important tool to help reduce the contribution of global warming. Any food waste should be scraped out into the bin, and any containers should be recycled accordingly. Less food waste within the containers allows for recycled plastics to be properly treated, without it tainting the process, which results in more plastic being sent to landfills.
