The Jr girls’ basketball team travelled to Maple Ridge yesterday and played an intense game.  They battled hard and never gave up, but unfortunately lost to Maple Ridge.  Leah C. stood out in the game making multiple 3’s! Good luck tomorrow in the Barrie Showdown tournament.

A reminder to all Cross Country runners!   The Bus is leaving at 12:30 for our meet today in Duntroon. Teachers please allow student athletes to leave your afternoon class at 12:20 to prepare for todays race!  Meet in the foyer with all your belongings and bring on your OSS team spirit.  Let’s go Nighthawks!

The Senior Girls continued their league winning streak yesterday by defeating Mapleridge 44 to 27. It took a little while to find our energy, but the Nighthawks stepped up the defence causing many turnovers that led to a strong lead in the second half. The squad has now won three league games in a row and pushed their overall record to 7 and 3. The party continues this weekend at the Barrie Invitational. Go Hawks!!!!!

Yesterday the Sr. Girls flag football team improved their record to 3 and 1, with a solid 20 to nothing performance against the Innisdale Invaders.  The defence was consistent the whole match and have now gone 5 straight halves without allowing any points against.  The offence consistently looked dangerous with Ava H. throwing 2 big touchdown passes to Naomi C.G.  Ava also connected on a power touchdown over the middle with Mary Grace M.  Next action is Friday against Nantyr.
