This is the last week to purchase tickets to the semi-formal!  Tickets are only available on school cash online.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.  Student ID or proof of purchase of student ID must be provided when picking up tickets.  Tickets will be available for pick up in the main office during lunch and after school from April 2-April 4 only.  Tickets cannot be picked up at the door.


Aaniin OSS,  a reminder that this Thursday during the lunch hour is the Andaayang Drum program in room 222.  Come and learn traditional drum teachings and drumming.

Mino Ghizheb OSS, the Grey Wolf Indigenous Canadian Forces Recruitment summer program will be at OSS with their military vehicles on April 5th, 2024 at 11:00am.  Grey Wolf will be presenting their summer Indigenous program and receiving recruitment applications.  This is a unique military training program combining Indigenous culture and teachings with military training. 

 Students wishing to complete applications on April 5th with Grey Wolf, please bring your necessary documents, this includes your  birth Certificate, and all other pieces of identification.

Game day! The young new age hockey phenoms on the boys hockey team are going to challenge the old experienced and gritty hockey players from the staff.  The game will be from 3 to 4 at Rotary today.  Do your stretches today teachers!

This is a reminder to all Enviro-hawks that we will have an important meeting in room 303 at the beginning of lunch today to finish off our Earth Hour activity and display student pledges. Please let Ms Stephens know if you are unable to attend.

Attention All Varsity Girls Rugby Players:  there is a mandatory lunch practice and declaration meeting today at lunch. Attendance is mandatory.

Looking for a way to get active and have some fun? Well, you're in luck! Come to the gym this Thursday at lunch for drop in 3 on 3 basketball! All skill levels are welcome.

Attention to all those who indicated an interest in trying out for Baseball!!!

Our first tryout will be Thursday in the gym at 2:35 until 4:00. Bring your glove and your indoor shoes. If you have a wood bat, you can bring that too, if not don't worry about it. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Young, Mr. Burke or Mr. Elliott.

HUGS is meeting today at lunch in room 332.  HUGS is a group dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. All are welcome.  Looking forward to seeing you today at lunch in room 332.

Attention all female or non-binary students who are interested in fire-fighting. There is a camp this July where you can get an inside look at a career in fire and emergency services. Drop by guidance if you are interested in learning more.

 There will be a meeting Tuesday a lunch in room 125 beside the weight room for those interested in playing on the Ultimate Frisbee team this year. The team is varsity and co-ed so all grades and genders are welcome to attend the meeting and tryout for the team. That's an ultimate frisbee meeting Tuesday at the start of lunch in room 125. Sign up will also be on the gym office door. 


 11 members of the track and field team participated in the York University Indoor meet this past weekend.  OSS walked away with 4 bronzes, a silver and a gold medal.  Great work by all athletes.  Practice resumes Tuesday.  Please meet in the weight room for attendance .
