Morning Announcements for June 10, 2024

It’s the DAY you’ve all been waiting for!  Prom tickets are available for pick-up in the main office starting today at lunch time only!  

There are some students who have not yet purchased a student I.D. card which is required to obtain a prom ticket.  An email was sent out Friday to those students.  If you are required to purchase a student I.D, please do so on SchoolCash online or cash payments will be accepted in the main office IN THE MORNING BEFORE CLASS OR AT THE END OF THE DAY AFTER CLASS.

 Aaniin OSS, a reminder to the Ribbon Shirt and Ribbon Skirt Workshop participants, please meet today in the Andaayang right at the beginning of lunch.

Attention OSS!

Next Wednesday, June 12th, there will be a teacher vs. students Ultimate Frisbee game buy in during period 4 (last class of the day).

Your period 4 class needs to collectively raise $25 for Jumpstart, to be able to watch the game. See you all there!!!

 Envelopes will be in Teacher mailboxes by noon today.

Attention all OSS athletes.  Today is the last day to get your athletic banquet ticket!  The Athletic Banquet is taking place on Tuesday June 11th from 5:30-7:00pm in our cafeteria.  That's tomorrow!  Tickets are just $5.00 for those who have purchased their student card.  The banquet will include an amazing Theo's Dinner, pictures, videos, and award presentations.  Get your ticket today at lunch in the main Foyer.  You do not want to miss out.

Congratulations to our Nighthawks who went to OFSAA for track this weekend.

Our relay team made up of Hailey D. Lauren K., Sarah I. Lexa M. and Ava W. had an excellent run!

Hailey D. proved herself a force in the sprint hurdles and Ellaina M. ran the 400 and the 800 meter with a personal season best time!

Congratulations to Lexa M. who finished 6th overall in the 300 meter hurdles!

Qualifying for OFSAA is an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations and thank you for representing our school so well!

 Musicians who are NOT in a class this semester and are NOT part of the commencement band are reminded that all INSTRUMENTS should be returned along with folder, shirts and music so that inventory can take place 

OSS music students taking part in the workshop tomorrow are asked to be in the room 110 at 12:20pm.  A reminder of summer instrument sign out requests are due this week.

HUGS is meeting today at lunch in room 332.  HUGS is a group dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies. All are welcome.  Looking forward to seeing you today at lunch in room 332.
