Mino Gazheb OSS, next week we will be hosting events in the Adaayang Room, 222 to celebrate Winter Solstice.
On Monday December 19th, 2022, during the lunch hour there will be a drum social. On Wednesday December 21st, 2022, there will be a Sacred Fire. This is a time to acknowledge the changing of the seasons, we express gratitude to Mother Earth as she has provided and worked for us during the spring and summer. As Mother Earth is covered with her white blanket, this is her time to rest, and we acknowledge all that she has given.
It was a successful day for the OSS SWIM TEAM at the GBSSA meet on Thursday.
The Sr. Girls Team came home with the GBSSA CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER!
Congrats to Claire, Ariel, Rachel, Ava, Celia, Madison, Megan and Julia on successful relays. This is the FIRST GBSSA Championship for a SR SWIM TEAM AT OSS.
Ariel McGee paved the way for the Sr Girls with 2 gold medal finishes in the 50 fly and 50 free.
The entire team had many personal bests. We will meet on Thursday after the Christmas break to prepare for OFSAA!
