Aaniin OSS Indigenous Students, interested in a challenging summer experience that delivers hands-on skills development, encourages teamwork, provides physical fitness training and promotes cultural awareness? On Friday March 3rd, 2023, from 11:40am to 1:00pm in the Andaayang Room 222, Sgt Andrea Karistinos from the Canadian Forces Recruitment will be at OSS presenting the Grey Wolf military program
This unique military training program combines Indigenous culture and teachings with military training that will help you develop valuable skills such as self-confidence, self-discipline, teamwork, time management, respect and fitness.

During the periods of training, you will be provided with:
• Meals and accommodation.
• Military clothing and equipment to use during the training.
• Transportation from home to the training location and back home; and
• Approximately $4,200 in salary.

This is a great opportunity, look forward to seeing you next Friday March 3rd.

Good Morning OSS, A reminder to all Indigenous students that next Tuesday February 28th, 2023, from 10am to 12pm there will an information session provided by Lakehead University, Georgian College and the Metis Nation of Ontario. This will take place in the Andaayang Room 222. This is a great opportunity to learn about Indigenous Post - Secondary programs and support initiatives for learning. Pizza will be provided


Girls Rugby, there is an important meeting at lunch today in room 335 for all girls interested in playing rugby this season. please show up at the start of lunch. We will discuss forms, a potential tournament and look at the practice schedule for the next week. Looking forward to seeing all the faces and players.

Anyone interested in trying out for co-ed volleyball please attend a meeting in room 125 at the beginning of lunch today.

Attention all Junior Concert Band members! Due to buses being cancelled yesterday, our Junior Band rehearsal has been moved to TODAY at lunch. All Junior Band members are asked to come to the music room right at the beginning of lunch today.
