Attention all baseball team members!!!

Check the Google Classroom and the door outside the Phys ed office if there is lighting later today. If the weather is poor, it will be posted on the Classroom and the gym door.  Our initial game schedule will be added to the Google Classroom today.  Also, please tell Mr. Young if you don't have a hat from previous seasons.

Mino Ghizheb OSS, a reminder that today ,  Mohawk Knowledge Keeper, Dan Doctor will be here sharing Wampum teachings in the OSS Library during second period, from 9:30am to 10:30am.  All students and staff are welcome.  

 Every year, teachers are asked to nominate senior students who have made the most of their high school careers, which could mean participation in extra-curriculars, community volunteerism, academic achievement, or overcoming obstacles in their lives.  Congratulations to this year’s Excellence in Education recipients: Naomi C.G.  Sadie H. and Emily M.  Please see Mrs. Wylie in Room 302 at the end of lunch today.

Track and field athletes are reminded to drop off their forms to Mrs Young in 337 today at lunch.

A reminder that the bus will be leaving at 7:00am tomorrow.  Please be on time.

 

Yesterday the Nighthawks, Senior Badminton team, competed in the Regional tournament.

 

There was strong play and improvements from many of our players, and consequently three of the teams will move  on to the GBSSA competition next week.

Standout performances include a 4th place finish my Mira R. & Myles O. in Mixed Doubles. A first place, gold medal finish for Emily M. and Adam S. in Mixed Doubles. A silver-lining 2nd place finish from Will W. in Boys' Singles, and a golden end to the day for Yuna O.in Girls' Singles with her 1st place finish.Junior Regionals will take place on Thursday.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!  That's right, Mary Poppins is coming to OSS!  Join Mary, Bert and the Banks family as they fly kites, take magical walks in the park and dance on the rooftops in this full-length Broadway musical.   There will be a school buy-in to see the show on Thursday, April 25th during periods 4 & 5. Buy-in tickets are $10 and are on sale in the Hawk Shop at lunch!  Cash or debit accepted.

Attention students:Are you looking for a job this summer? Many employers are beginning to hire for summer positions.  Come to guidance to check out some options.

 

 Foooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre!!!!!    Attention to all junior boy golfers!  If you are interested in trying out for the junior boys golf team, there will be a meeting in Room 308 today (Wednesday) at the beginning of lunch. If you have any inquiries, please see Mr. Kirkey.

 The Arts & Culture - Music, Arts & Entertainment students are reminded to return the permission forms for the fieldtrip in May – they are due by FRIDAY!!!
