Please check the expiry dates on your donations before bringing them to school to ensure they haven't expired!! If your class collects 50 donations your class will receive candy and the top 3 classes that donate the most will receive Timbits!

Yesterday, the junior girls flag football team improved to 2 and 1 on the season with a 19-0 win over Nottawasaga Pines. Big stops by the defence forced a punt that Lexa M. returned for a touchdown to open the scoring. Amber L. hit Cabot F. in the end zone with a conversion by Isabella C. to secure a 13-nothing lead at halftime. The Nighthawks opened the second half with a long, sustained drive with key catches by Claudia C. and Holly T., that ended in a touchdown pass to Maya N.. The defence continued their spectacular play to hold the shut out with Lyla P. anchoring the middle and great stops by Ava M., Maddie C. and Sophie D. and Livi W. with a huge 15-yard sack. Great job Nighthawks!
Yesterday the Sr. Girls Flag Football team extended their win streak to 3 games with a 31 to 6 victory over Innisdale.
The defense was aggressively pursuing the ball in the air. Keira P. and Emma H. made several big knockdowns. Canyon F., Hannah D. and Hailey B. all made great interceptions.
Ava H. threw 4 touchdown passes, 2 to Brynnen S., 1 to Raygen H. and 1 to Angelica D. Brynnen S. also made a terrific 30 yard TD run to give her 3 Touchdowns on the day. Keep on truckin girls!

This weekend is the university fair at the Toronto Convention Centre. Representatives from all the Ontario universities will have displays.
You can also attend a smaller version closer to home on November 15th at the Nottawasaga Inn or listen in on a virtual presentation on November 22nd.
