Yesterday, the Nighthawks Girls hockey team hosted their final tournament of the season. Facing off first against Twin Lakes, the girls were down by 3 going into the second period. After a huge effort, Nighthawk goals were scored by Zoe Hazel, Mia Ligers, Anna Fagan, and Jessyca Smellie, to finish off the game with a 4-3 win for the Nighthawks. In their second game, despite some good chances and an end-to-end rush and top-shelf goal by Cabot Ferguson, the girls didn't get the win. For their final game of the tournament against Bear Creek, the Nighthawk girls came together for a highly competitive game, finishing their final game of the season with a 5-5 tie. A huge thank you to the team for an awesome season. A special shout-out to our student volunteers who went above and beyond to keep the games running.
