Attention anyone interested in getting a yearbook. Listen up, this is the plan for today:
- If you pre-ordered a yearbook and have not received it yet, please come to room 343 at lunch, during 4th period, or after school.
- If you did not pre-order a yearbook and would like one, please come to room 343 at lunch, during 4th period, or after school…and bring $45.
- If you are in co-op and pre-ordered a yearbook, Mr. V has them and will get them to you on your culminating task days.
If you do not know who Mr. Newman is, he will be in room 343 at lunch, during 4th period, and after school. He is wearing a bright orange shirt today and will likely be giving people their yearbooks in room 343.

Human trafficking is a major issue in Orillia and in Simcoe County. Human trafficking targets young adults providing them with promises in exchange for often, illegal activities. Traffickers control their victims in many ways, including psychological manipulation, emotional abuse, lies, addiction, threats, violence, isolation, and taking control of their lives. Canada has 5000 police reported cases of human trafficking but it is known that this is only a small percentage of people affected by human trafficking. Know the signs, such as branding or tattoos, social isolation, and unexplained bruises and call 911 if you believe that someone needs help.
To all OSS athletes, the athletic banquet is today, June 11th. Today at lunch in the main foyer will be the last opportunity to purchase a ticket for just $2. Bring a toonie! Theo's dinner will be provided. Again, this is for anyone who has played for any OSS sports team this year.
