Attention all Grade 12 graduates: There will be a graduation assembly on Thursday, immediately after lunch during Period 4, in the cafeteria. Please check in with your Period 4 teacher before heading down to the cafeteria. Important commencement information will be shared, and graduation caps and gowns will be distributed.

Human trafficking is when people are kept, moved, and exploited to make money. Many people in these situations are unable to talk freely without fear of consequence. It is therefore important that we, as a community, learn the signs of human trafficking. Victims of human trafficking may be unable to explain their circumstances, have tattooing or branding, have bruises and or signs of abuse, show evidence of being controlled or intimidated, and frequently moved by their trafficker. If you believe someone you know is being trafficked, please contact 911 privately and quickly.

Carnival Day is coming to OSS on Friday June 5th! It is time to celebrate the school year and all the accomplishments that were made this year. This will be an afternoon buy in at a cost of $30 per class so bring in your spare change to your period 5 class. The afternoon will include Beavertail and Funnel Cake food trucks, inflatable obstacle courses, a Grad/Teacher flag football game, grade colour challenges, game tables, Hawk shop pop up, vendors, and more! Graduates will receive one free Beavertail or Funnel Cake. Be sure to bring cash for the vendor tables. Food Trucks will accept credit/debit and cash.
Student council brings to you colour wars! Show your school spirit and which grade is the best by sporting your assigned colour on Carnival day. Grade 9 is yellow, Grade 10 is blue, Grade 11 is green, and Grade 12 is pink. There will be games where the grades will complete against each other and the winner will be crowned the best grade in the school! Don't miss out!
