Students can also purchase a $5 buy‑in ticket to attend the preview performance tomorrow (May 26th) during last period. Buy‑in tickets will be sold at lunch today in the main foyer.

Are you ready for a magical night of dancing and celebration? This year’s Pride Prom is officially happening on Friday, June 12th! We are heading over to Bear Creek Secondary School for an evening themed after A Midsummer Night's Dream.
The party kicks off at 6:30 PM and runs until 10:00 PM. This event is open to all SCDSB secondary school students. It’s a safe, welcoming, and inclusive celebration for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and their allies. Tickets are only $10 each and available on SchoolCash Online.
Whether you want to embrace the enchanted forest theme or just come out to celebrate Pride, it’s going to be an unforgettable night.

On Friday, the girls slo pitch team travelled to the Barrie for the SCAA playoff finale. The girls struck early and often against the number two seed Innisdale Invaders in the semi-final with Addi K. and Sophia L. driving in 3 runs each. Hollie T. scored 3 times and drove in two and the defence held a very strong Invader lineup for an 18-11 victory. The Nighthawks moved into the final against #1 seed and undefeated Nottawasaga Pines Timberwolves. After falling behind 5-3 after two innings, the Nighthawks put together a 3 run third inning to retake the lead and then a big 5 run fifth along with stifling team defence led by Emersyn M. and Sophia L. who ended two innings with outstanding catches in the outfield. Makayla H. and Paige B. were stellar on the mound as usual as the Nighthawks took home the SCAA title with a true team effort and will play for the GBSSA crown on Thursday.
This week in the gym, badminton is making a smashing comeback. Reminder, you must have purchased a student ID card and have your athletic safety forms signed. So grab your gear, your friends, and your best victory dance — we’ll see you on the court Wednesday!
