Listen up OSS!  It's time to spread some holiday cheer for children in our community.  Students for Change is running a toy drive for the next two weeks.  Please bring new and unwrapped toys to our gift table by the cafeteria.  Toys for all ages are welcome. Thank you for helping us bring some joy to children in need.

Tomorrow, Dec 6, marks the anniversary of the murder of 14 young women at the Polytechnique Institute in Montreal.  This act of femicide led Parliament to declare Dec 6 as the National Day of Remembrance and Action for Violence Against Women.  Let us not forget.  Wear a white ribbon tomorrow and speak up against Gender-Based Violence.  Let’s act against misogyny and hatred towards women. Let’s fight for equality and safety for women in Canada and in the world.

Garden Club will meet today at lunch in room 303. Hope to see you all there and new members are always welcome to come and join.

Math Hawks will meet today at lunch in Room 304.  New members are always welcome! That’s Math Hawks today at lunch in Room 304.

This is a reminder for all members of the Nordic ski team.  There is an important meeting today at 11:15 in room 125.

If any student going on the Italy/Greece trip can help with a job today at lunch, please see Mrs Young in the library at the start of lunch.

The OSS wrestling team had another great day on Wednesday, again demonstrating the toughness and grit required for the sport.  All athletes had notable performances and matches including Grant M., who won all 4 of his matches in a tough weight class.  Brock J. fought hard through all his matches picking up a couple big wins.  Rookie Sam P. battled to a 3 and 1 record and continues improve each time he steps on the mat.  Special thank you to Shreeya P. who kept the tournament running smoothly all day and organizing the exhibition matches for the wrestlers.
