Attention choir members:  this is a reminder that we have a rehearsal today at lunch to prepare for our performance at the Opera House this week.  Please be in the music room ready to start at 11am.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR DONATIONS for our Movember fundraisers! Get your donations in for the teacher YOU think has the best mustache! We'll see the winner tomorrow! Additionally, for this week's Mindshift Monday, we challenge you to journal your day today. Often, journalling helps us prioritize tasks and reduce stress, as we then have a plan for the day. We're wishing you a fantastic start to your week!

Gender Based violence is a serious issue in Canada and in our community. Around 102 women a year experience gender based homicide, 93% of these homicides are committed by a male intimate partner or family member. More than 11 million people in Canada have experienced gender based violence. That’s 27% of Canada’s population. Whenever you can, spread awareness about gender based violence and always speak up if you are experiencing it. On December 5th we will be handing out ribbons to show respect and raise awareness about gender based violence.

Grade 12 Students, Reminder tomorrow December 2 at 8:00 am Humber College is here visiting the Guidance Office. Drop into Guidance to sign up!

The OSS wrestling team got off to a fantastic start at Bear Creek last Thursday.  Ryan A., Lilly H. and Nate S. went undefeated on the day, while Scarlett B. and rookies Mason C. and Ryker C. had 3 wins and 1 loss.  All wrestlers fought hard and represented the Nighthawks with the rare combination of class and toughness.  A special shout out to Kendall O. who had the best tournament of his career going 2 and 2.  Well done Nighthawks!
