Hey Nighthawks! Did you know that one of the main uses of Chat GPT and other AI platforms is people seeking mental health information and supports?

When seeking out mental health information, advice, and especially counselling it's important to consider the reputability and training of the company or person providing the advice. In the case of folks asking AI chat bots for mental health advice and support, we are seeing a big uptick in negative mental health outcomes and even psychosis related to AI chat bots mental health advice because AI doesn't yet understand the complexities of mental health.

If you are seeking mental health supports reach out to your guidance counsellor or vice principal, or scan of the QR code posters for Social Work appointments. And always remember that calling 988 is a 24/7 free and confidential support when you are in crisis.

Today the senior girls flag football team will travel to Banting to play in the SCAA championship game. in their playoff games last week the nighthawks cruised to a 36 to 0 victory against the Collingwood fighting owls highlighted by a pick six and an offensive touchdown by Kylie H. in the semifinal game, a tough match against the Maple Ridge ravens came to an exciting finish.  down with five minutes left in the game Emerson M. scored a 90 yard touchdown with the entire opposing defense, chasing her all the way, but unfortunately the nighthawks were unable to convert and all seemed lost still down by one point. some last second heroics by the defence resulted in an interception by Lexa M., and a game-winning touchdown by Brennan S. with virtually no time left to earn a spot in the finals. Good luck today, girls.
