Good morning, Nighthawks.

Around the school today you will notice some small posters looking for you to fill out the ‘Yearbook Music Survey.’

The results of this survey will be used in this year’s yearbook.

Do you want to know which teacher has identified Shania Twain’s “Man, I feel like a woman” as their “go to” karaoke classic?

Do you want to know what the best song of all time is according to your grade?

Do you want to know which live version of Yellow Leadbetter is Mr. Lapointe’s favourite?

You will find these answers, or ones just like them in this year’s yearbook.

You can pre-order your yearbook through School Cash Online.

But, in order to make the survey accurate, we need your input.  We need you, our students and staff, our Kettle of Nighthawks, we need you to take some time and fill in the Yearbook Music Survey.  Follow the QR code and submit your picks.

Attention all members of student council.  There will be a meeting today at 11:00 in room 300 for ALL MEMBERS.  Bring your lunch and see you there!

Imagine for a second you are a student during the holidays. You're excited, you get to have a great big dinner with your family, cake, the works. However, as it turns out, the price of food is too expensive. This is sadly a reality for many families in our town, and even for students in our school. Starting Today, you can help people in your community by donating non-perishable items to the Students for Change Fall Food Drive. Get your donations in to your homeroom classroom, in the box we provide.

Hi OSS,

for this belated Mindshift Monday, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team challenges you to just smile. Even if it's fake, cracking a smile will always help you feel better. We're wishing you an amazing start to your week!

Last Friday the Jr boys team faced off at home against Barrie North. The team got off to a fast start with a pick 6 by Dean H. and a 20 yard touchdown run by Jace C. leading to a 14-0 lead. Both teams were unable to move the ball consistently until the 3rd quarter when Barrie North was able to put together several strong runs and get within one score. With injuries to OSS piling up, the team was unable to handle the run game and unfortunately finished on the losing end of a 20-14 score. The coaches commend the team for their effort and hope everyone is rested up and ready to prepare for this weeks game vs Maple Ridge
