Terry Fox Terry Fox Terry Fox

Continue to bring in your donations to your period 2 classroom. Our school goal is $5000 and if we can reach our goal then the Terry Fox Run next Thursday will be a day to remember! Mr. Bolen will let students shave his head however they want, how do you think he would look with a Mohawk? If you'd like to watch your teachers race on the track in giant blow up dinosaur costumes, then get your funds in! So far it is looking like Mr. Hinsberger is the school favourite to get pied in the face- if you’d like it to be Mrs Bolen, Mrs Dunn or Mr Harris then drop a 5 in their jar today! Help us reach our school goal before next Thursday and bring your money to your period 2 teacher!

Yesterday the junior girls flag football team faced a very tough squad from Maple Ridge.  The defense played splendidly and kept Maple Ridge off the board for 26 minutes in the first half.  Great picks by Chiara C. and Hollie T. made a huge difference.

Unfortunately, they wore us down and took the victory.  The offence did show a late spark with a huge catch and run from Paige S. to Cabot F. for a touchdown.

Next action is versus Twin Lakes

Are you interested in keeping our school beautiful? Learning how to grow plants in a garden outside, or inside in soil or using hydroponics? If so, the Gardening Club may be for you.  Join us this Friday at lunch for our first garden club meeting of the year.  See Ms Stephens with any questions.
