Good morning OSS! Today is the day. The Winter Solstice feast is happening at lunch in the Andaayang. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the incoming season.
Yesterday, the Nighthawks Varsity girls' hockey team faced off against Collingwood Collegiate. It was a tough game, with the girls giving their all every shift against increasingly rough play. Special shoutout to our goal tender, Irelyn Mitchell, for an impressive display in the first period. Coaches Bolen and Coghill want to thank the team for their effort and look forward to the rest of our season in the new year.
Students for Change is holding a toy drive for the pediatríc patients of OSMH AND a winter clothing drive for the Orillia Youth Centre until TOMORROW.Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy or hats/mitts/etc to the table in front of the cafe.

Attention all Alpine Skiers. There is a meeting today at the start of lunch in room 341. Everyone needs to be there for important information regarding our ski races.

Yesterday we were able to raise $98.80 in our hot chocolate fundraiser. We will be matching that and donating $200 to the sharing place. Way to go Nighthawks!!
Mrs. Aust Business class is at it again. Tomorrow students will be putting on the Holiday Market at lunch so bring your spare change. Various items like candy canes, cookies, stickers, keychains, and brownies will be sold. All proceeds will be donated to the Royal Canadian legion here is Orillia. Last year we raised $300 for the SPCA and our goal is to beat that donation. See you at lunch tomorrow!!
Tonight at 6:30 pm is the grade 10/11 drama play called "13 Worst Break Ups of All Time". All are welcome to come and see this free show.
Wednesday is the OSS junior dance recital. It is also at 6:30 and in the drama studio. Come and support our amazing dance team and junior dance class.
