You will require to purchase your student i.d. in order to attend semi-formal. Tickets will be on sale through school cash online. If you have not yet purchased your student i.d you will not be able to pick up your ticket. Student I.D. cards are mandatory to attend the semi-formal.

A huge congratulations to the OSS Cross-Country Team for an amazing running season. The Team competed in the GBSSAs at Duntroon, Collingwood last Thursday against some tough competitors. They tackled the cold and hills with fury! Colton S. finished 10th in the series and 7th overall in the novice boys' group, while Jacob M. blew away his fellow competitors with his powerful hill running on the course. Way to go! We're proud of all you and look forward to next season. Keep running!
Attention all those who would like to join the cross-country ski team, also known as the Nordic ski team. There will be an information meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at lunch in room 334. No experience necessary! If you don't have equipment then NO PROBLEM. We have everything you will need. So, come out to the Nordic ski team meeting tomorrow at the start of lunch in room 334 to learn more. Remember this is Nordic skiing. We don't need chair lifts, elevators, or other assistive mobility devices like the alpine team. See Mr. or Mrs. Shami or Ms. Cooper-Wagner if you have any questions.

Nighthawks, are you ready for a night out in New York? Semi formal is November 8th. Doors will open at 6:30 and close at 8:00. The dance will go until 10pm. Tickets will be $15 and can be purchased on cash online starting this week. Remember you must have a valid student card to attend.
Hey all you Goules and Goblins! Halloween is fast approaching! On Thursday we will have a pumpkin carving contest in your period 2 class. Also, we will have a costume fashion show in the cafe at lunch so wear your best costume and see you there! Remember: culture is not a costume, no masks, no fake weapons.
Grade 12's who have a spare period 2 are invited to the library today during period 2 to meet with Mrs. Couvrette about some post-secondary pathway planning and applications.

On Thursday, October 31 the Aboriginal Post-Secondary Information Program will be visiting OSS in the Cafetorium from 1 - 2 pm.
This gives First Nations, status and non-status, Inuit, and Métis students the opportunity to connect with Indigenous college representatives who can help you explore programs, admission requirements, financial aid, living accommodations, and campus life. There will be representatives from 20 different colleges and universities from across Ontario. Please mark your calendars!
