Yesterday the Sr. Girls Flag Football team travelled to Twin Lakes for an exhibition match.
The defense established early dominance and never let up, consistently shutting down Twin Lakes attack. Hailey B. Emma H. and Kiera P. impressed with strong consistent flagging to break up many plays. Audrey B. impressed in her debut game after signing a huge rookie contract.
On offence the big guns dazzled with some massive plays for scores. Raygan H. struck first with an explosive 50 yard touchdown run and score a big touchdown later on a short pass racking up 60 yards after the catch. Brynnen G. broke some ankles with a huge cutback to bust open the defence on a 45 yard run for a TD. Finally Ava H. threw a perfect 25 yard strike down the field to Angelica D. , who flew downfield for a TD.
Final score 27-6 for OSS. Next match is Tuesday against Barrie North.
