Please dismiss the Jr boys football team at 12:30 today for their game against Bear Creek.

Congratulations to all cross country runners who competed in Collingwood yesterday.  McKenna K., Hannah K., Claire K., and Keira K. made up our senior girls' team and all had strong finishes.  The team will travel to GBSSA's next week.

Our schools Terry Fox Walk will take place TODAY during your period 5 class. After lunch, we will start to call grades out to the track at their scheduled time. All period 5 teachers are reminded to bring out your classes brown donation envelope when your class gets called out for the walk. It is also your last day to bring donations to your period 5 teacher. Remember the class who raises the most money will win a prize! We will also have a donation collection bin inside the office next week if you are wishing to donate more. See you out there OSS!

Student ID cards will be sold today at lunch in the front foyer for $10 cash. If you pre paid for your card online through school cash online, you can come at lunch to the foyer to pick it up. Forgot your money today? No worries. We will have them on sale all next week for purchase and pickup.

Hey OSS, starting October 18th (that's next Monday) your students for change team will be holding a food drive! A box will be placed in the front foyer and we will be accepting any unopened and non perishable food items. This year has been especially hard for food banks all over and has made it even harder for those in need. It has been shown that the number of people visiting the food banks has increased by 25% during the pandemic, making it super important that they get the support and help they need. All items will be donated to the Sharing Place here in Orillia. Any unopened or non perishable food items will be accepted and are greatly appreciated.

Reminder to Grade 12 students that a representative from the University of New Brunswick will be making a "Virtual Visit" to OSS today.  Great school AND a chance to explore more of Canada while you study!   The zoom link was sent to you in an email yesterday.  Starts at 10:40 today.  Zoom in and have a listen – it could change your life!!!
