the Coldwater arena on Sat. Jan. 25th.

Last night the varsity boy’s hockey team played
Twin Lakes in the 2nd annual Orillia Cup. After falling behind a goal
early the team charged ahead to a 4 to 2 victory. The whole team played a
solid game but the top line really propelled us on the scoresheet.
Captain Noah M. had a 4-point night with 2 goals and 2 assists. Jacob B.
and Jesse M. both had 2 goals and an assist each. Great work nighthawks.
Next action is in February.

The Nordic ski team competed
in the Phoenix Race at Georgian Nordic in Parry Sound yesterday. The team
faced stiff competition against some of the best Nordic skiers in the province.
Great effort was put in by everyone with some notable results. Claire K.
finished 3rd in the Novice Girls race while Audrey R. finished 1st in the
Senior Girls High School category. Both the Jr girls and Sr. boys
finished 3rd overall in the team category. Great job Nighthawks!
