The Nordic ski team competed in the Thames Valley Race at Hardwood Hills yesterday.  This was the first race for many of the skiers. Everyone should be commended for having a great race in cold and windy conditions.  Both Sr. teams finished 3rd in the overall team competition. Notable individual performances included:

McKenna K. - 6th place in Novice Girls

Isaac L. - 2nd place in Novice Boys

Audrey R. - 2nd place in Senior Girls

Maeve C. - 6th place in Senior Girls

Bayze M. - 15th place in Senior Boys

Way to go team!  Next race is Wed Jan 15th at Georgian Nordic in Parry Sound.

Last night the junior boy’s basketball ball team had a solid win over Bear Creek. Our offence and defence were both very strong and in terms of executing our play it was one of the best games played so far this season. Great work boys! The boys travel to Eastview on Tuesday for the battle between the two best teams in the league.
On Tuesday, the OSS Me to We team went to Giant tiger to purchase hats, mitts and socks with the money raised by the December Hydro flask and scrunchie raffle. Giant Tiger provided almost $300 in clothing for a discounted price of $90 raised by the OSS staff and students.

Today's Enviro-hawks meeting will be moved today to the library.  This is our last meeting before exams.
