Last night the boy’s basketball teams traveled to Innisdale and found themselves in tough against 2 solid squads.  The Seniors executed very well at both ends of the floor and came away with a convincing 71-35 victory.  Matt Mercer, Ryan Heim and Garrett Van Amelsvoort led the way.  The Junior match was a bit of a different story.  Although the boys played hard it was difficult to overcome a more experienced team and lost 63-44.  Horwin Jia played very well.  Next action for both teams is tomorrow at Blackball.

The Nordic Ski Team competed in their second race of the season yesterday.  The skiers should be congratulated on making it through a difficult race with very challenging, icy conditions. The race of the day belongs to Jeremy Langner who put in a strong performance in the senior boy’s division, finishing only 3 and half minutes behind the top skiers in GBSSA.  Next race is January 15th at Mountainview, Midland.  Good luck team!

Today’s the day! Come down to the first floor at lunch and take part in LIT! Visit the booths for information on Healthy Eating and Mental Wellness or stop by the Gym, Fitness Room and Dance Room for some Dodgeball, Fitness Circuits and Gaga Ball, and maybe visit some therapy dogs. Lots of things to be learned, fun to be had and some prizes to be won

Me to We:  There is a meeting in room 222 today.

OSS Boys Curling Team won last night against Barrie North 7 - 2.

This was an extra special win, since Barrie North team players have described themselves as grade 13's.

Way to go team!
