Congratulations to the senior girl's basketball team on a great showing at OFSAA last week.
In their first game the girls almost pulled off the biggest upset of the tournament against 7th ranked Northern Collegiate but came up just two points shy. In their next game against 4th seed Brantford the Hawks led for most of the first quarter but the Brantford team was able to pull ahead in the second half and take the win. They emptied the tank in their 3rd game to beat the higher ranked St. Edmund Campion and advance to the next round in the consolation championship.
Unfortunately, the girls fell short in their last game but they represented OSS with positivity and amazing sportsmanship and should be so proud of their accomplishments. Congrats girls on a great season!

All this week the Enviro-action team will be collecting old clothing, footwear, and even old soft stuffed toys to be picked up by Bag2School on Friday. Drop off your donation in the front foyer in front of the fast fashion display. Please see Ms. Stephens with any questions.
