A representative from the University of Waterloo will be here on Monday, November 5th at lunchtime.  Please sign up in Guidance!!  And bring your lunch to the presentation.

So far only the University of Waterloo is scheduled to visit next week!

Any grade 12 students interested in pursuing a career in medicine are asked to see Ms. Stanley in guidance to learn about a very important presentation.

The Enviro-action team will be meeting today in room 303 at lunch.  New members are always welcome!

Alright OSS! Today is the day! Orillia Secondary's first semi-formal a "Starry Night". Tickets will be sold for 10$ in the foyer at lunch. If you want to still get them at the original price of 7$, use your school cash online account! Remember, the dance starts at 7 o'clock and you MUST have your student id, as well as any guests who are coming with you need theirs. Let’s have a good night OSS! 

 There will be yoga happening in the drama room during the first half of lunch today. All are welcome, no experience necessary. That’s yoga in room 112. 

Yesterday, the Jr boys football team's season came to an end with a loss to Bear Creek in the quarter finals. For 3 quarters OSS played with ferocity and determination keeping the game scoreless, and their opponent first frustrated and then panicking. However, Bear Creek eventually scored two touchdowns on long passes to seal the victory. Special mention goes to the defense who had an outstanding effort, particularly Rhys Hawke who had several impressive tackles during the game and Jordan Buckindale who had a highlight reel interception. The coaches would like to thank the players for a strong season and look forward to next year.

Attention all sport fans, your Sr. boy nighthawks were in league volleyball action last night at the hawk's nest facing off against the Barrie North Vikings. The boys came out sluggish dropping the first set to the Vikings, but came out strong to take the next 3 sets. Jer "the hype man" head brought the noise and the play to turn things around.
