Yesterday, the junior boys football team completed the regular season by proving they could hold their own with undefeated Barrie North. In an exciting back and forth game that featured several lead changes the OSS offence had their most complete game of the season. Jordan Buckindale lead the way with 3 touchdowns including an electrifying 60-yard kickoff return. Despite some early troubles and questionable officiating, the defense was strong in the second half including an impressive tackle on 3rd and goal from Horwin Jia. Even though the team did not come away with a win, it will prepare them well for the playoffs next week. Next practice is Friday.

Calling all guitarists, bass players, and rock enthusiasts.

Do you like Blues, Rock, or Metal? Is there a certain solo you just can’t quite figure out? If you want to learn rock, play rock, or just casually eat your lunch and listen to rock, come out TODAY at lunch in Room 341.

To the student voice wellness team, there will be a meeting at the beginning of lunch in room 324.

On October 31, MeToWe is furthering their contributions to the community by scaring away hunger! Students are welcome to join the MeToWe team and collect non-perishable food items for our food drive. We will have a group of students collecting from the neighbourhood and others staying at the school for a drop off. Students interested in participating please come to room 222 at lunch Friday for more information.

Would you like to gain classroom and hands-on training in the Canadian Armed Forces while earning 4 high-school credits?  On November 1st, an officer will be at our school to do a presentation about the Military Coop program for Simcoe County students.  You can sign up for this information session in Guidance.

Last night the Junior Girls Basketball team finished their regular season with an impressive 55-26 win over rival Eastview.  The win earned the team the #1 seed moving into payoffs and the privilege to host playoff games here at OSS.  Great job ladies.  Next action is Friday in Guelph.

Revolution, the Christian Group, will be meeting at lunch today in room 343. Come on out and bring your friends. That's room 343. All are welcome!
