OSS will be
hosting a Jack- Talk Assembly for all grades on Wednesday October 17. Jack.org is an organization that works with student
engagement to increase the conversations to youth from youth about mental
health and breaking the silence.
will include two post-secondary student speakers who are trained and certified
to speak to youth about mental health education and personal stories. We
hope that this will help break barriers surrounding mental health discussions
and educate our students about community supports. Two school social
workers will be available that day for our students if they require support.
If you have any questions, please call into the school and ask to speak to Vice Principal David Brooks.
