The Aboriginal Post-Secondary Information (APSIP) is being held at OSS on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 1:05 p.m.
The Aboriginal Post-Secondary Information Program (APSIP) is dedicated
to empowering and improving access opportunities for Aboriginal (First
Nations, status and non-status, Inuit and Métis) learners to pursue
postsecondary education in Ontario.
At APSIP events, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with Aboriginal
college and university liaisons who can answer your questions about applying to
college or university, choosing a program, admission requirements, applying for
financial aid / funding, arranging living accommodations and campus
You’ll also discover how Ontario’s colleges and universities can be a home away from
home with resource centres and support services specifically for
Aboriginal students. Make sure you self-identify as an Aboriginal person
when you complete your college or university application, or at the Aboriginal
Student Services centre on campus, to keep informed of the many
services, programs and events that are available to meet your needs.
