high-school credits? If this perks your interest, you are encouraged to
attend a presentation about Simcoe County's Military Coop program.
An officer will be at our school on November 1st to do the presentation
and you can sign up in Guidance.

A reminder that
the Orillia Youth Centre is offering a free Thanksgiving Dinner with all the
fixings this Friday at 5 p.m. All youth are welcomed and their families

Junior Girls Flag Football team earned their first victory against the Twin
Lake Thunderbirds with a score of 15 to nothing. The team moved the ball
well on offense throughout the game and were aggressive and unmovable on defense.
Touchdowns were scored by Mattea Wafelbakker and Morgan Lamarche. Cassidy
Reed ran in an extra point convert and Georgia Babcock punted 2 points into the
end zone. Defensively interceptions were made by Shannon Dickie, Olivia
Mayhew and Tyonna Ashby with 2. Great game girls. Next action is
Tuesday at Stayner.
the grade 11 Indigenous Studies class who are going on the trip to Springwater
Park, please meet Mrs. Ruttan at the front doors at 9:10 to board the
bus. If you haven't yet brought in your permission slip, please bring it

Congrats to Kenan Granulo on winning the SR Boys Singles
Tennis yesterday and to Kate Stacey and Madison Rynard on their tremendous
effort in Girls Doubles.
Picture retake day is on Tuesday (oct 9th). All
Students must have their photo taken for the yearbook and their student card.
If you purchased a package and are having your picture retaken,
