Sears drama festival cast and crew meet this Wednesday and Thursday at lunch in the drama room and there is a mandatory choreography rehearsal with guest artist from Toronto Monday evening 230 - 430 

Last night the Senior Boys Basketball moved to 5 and 0 in league with a convincing 88-18 win over Bear Creek.  Excellent ball movement and on the ball defense were the keys to success.  Next action is tonight, 3:00 vs Gravenhurst. 

Is your new year's resolution to make new friends? You should come to HUGS today at lunch in room 309. 

From the Music Department:

Next Monday night the music department is holding a fundraiser at Boston Pizza. Come support us by having dinner between 5 and 8 p.m. Please book a reservation through Boston Pizza and tell them it is for the OSS Music Department.

The intermediate stage band meets today at 2:30. Senior stage is at 5:30 and Senior concert band is at 7.

Intermediate concert band meets tomorrow, Thursday, at lunch and students can pick up the Geneva Park information today or tomorrow.

Arts Night, featuring the work and sounds of Drama, Visual Arts, Dance and Music, will take place next Tuesday night, January 16 at 6 p.m. Come and check out the outstanding work of your classmates.

Reminder to dance team of tonight’s rehearsal 

OSS can nominate a maximum of 4 graduating students for Western University National Scholarships so nomination forms are now available outside Mrs. Gagnon’s office in Guidance.

To be eligible, you must have applied for fall admission to a program on the main Western campus, have a minimum 90% average in all grade 12 courses, demonstrate exceptional leadership as well as the ability for creative & innovative thought and a passion for learning.

Completed forms must be returned to Guidance by 2:30 p.m. Tuesday January 16th.

Attention all students on bus 218.  Starting tomorrow January 11th student pick up times will be up to ten minutes earlier.  Please see Mrs. Bruce in the office today to confirm your new time.

Yesterday the Nighthawks Girls Curling Team had a tremendous 4-3 win over Twin Lakes.  April, Katie, Kennedy and Cathy all played great.  Way to go girls!
