From the music
Thank you to the many
music students who took part in the two parades we performed at this weekend.
Coldwater on Saturday night and Moonstone were both highly successful thanks to
your participation. We received nothing but good comments from people watching
up starts tomorrow at Scott's Garden Centre. Last names starting with A-F start
tomorrow. Letters G-O pick up on Tuesday and P-Z pick up on Wednesday.

What a weekend it
was for the Nighthawk Nation!!
The Senior Girls
Volleyball team got the Championship ball rolling for the Nighthawk Nation on
Friday as they traveled north to Bracebridge to play in the Northern Classic.
They girls were coming
off a strong regular season start earlier in the week and continued their
momentum right into the round robin portion of the tournament, finishing first
in their pool.
The day ended the
same way it started, with your OSS girls going undefeated for the day at with a
12-0 record, and claiming the Championship Final of the 2017 Bracebridge
The Gold Medal
performance was lead by strong passing and great defense from everyone.
After winning the first set, the girls showed their grit after being down 21-16
in the second set to come back to win the title 2-0. Way to go
The next action
for the girls is Tuesday in Bradford, and Friday at the Georgian College

Do you want
travel to Italy and France in the spring of 2019? OSS will be traveling
to Rome, Florence, Ortona, Paris concluding with the historic journey along the
beaches of Normandy to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of DDay at Juno
Beach. There will be an information night THIS WED DEC 6th at 7pm in the
OSS Library. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Young in
to the Senior Boys Basketball team who went 5 and 0 over the weekend on route
to winning the Tomahawk Classic Championship. The championship game vs
Notre Dame from Sudbury was an offensive and defensive clinic as the boys won
68-37. Next action is Wednesday vs Barrie North.
On Wednesday of
this week, our Coop students will be participating in a Job Fair to showcase their
placements and what they are learning through Coop.

Olds, Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Pet Valu are just some of the
many employers who will be represented.
Come on down
to the 1st floor on Wednesday and check out the displays, our Coop students are
hoping to have lots of visitors!!
