What a weekend it was for the Nighthawk Nation!!

The Senior Girls Volleyball team got the Championship ball rolling for the Nighthawk Nation on Friday as they traveled north to Bracebridge to play in the Northern Classic.

They girls were coming off a strong regular season start earlier in the week and continued their momentum right into the round robin portion of the tournament, finishing first in their pool.

The day ended the same way it started, with your OSS girls going undefeated for the day at with a 12-0 record, and claiming the Championship Final of the 2017 Bracebridge Northern Classic.

The Gold Medal performance was lead by strong passing and great defense from everyone.  After winning the first set, the girls showed their grit after being down 21-16 in the second set to come back to win the title 2-0.  Way to go girls!

The next action for the girls is Tuesday in Bradford, and Friday at the Georgian College Invitational...
