Morning Announcements September 25, 2017http://oss.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/182Morning Announcements September 25, 2017 <p><span style="font-family:"calibri",sans-serif;color:black;">This past weekend, the Jr. Girls Basketball team traveled to St. Catherine's for a tournament. The girls were on fire early dismantling the host Ridley College with a 93-13 win. In their second game, OSS defeated Bear Creek 44-16. However, in the final game, the girls came up just short losing to Eden 36-31. It was a fun weekend with many outstanding performances and many high point totals. </span></p><p class="MsoPlainText">The senior girls’ basketball team travelled to St Catherine's to play in the AC Peters tournament over the weekend. The girls dominated the tournament with wins over Fort Erie, Lakeshore, Notre Dame and Essex to come out tournament champions.<span>  </span>Congrats to Claire Fletcher and Marlee Sanderson on being tournament All Stars. Next home game is this Tuesday at 3:30. Come out, make some noise and support your team!</p><p class="MsoPlainText">The Nighthawks Sr. Boys football team lost after a hard fight against Banting the last week. Josh Buckindale got a touchdown thrown by Jacob Johnson. Alex Greven and Nolan Felstead held down the line while Dylan Gibson did a great job on defence. Next action is Friday on the OSS field, come support your Nighthawks!</p><p><span style="font-family:"calibri",sans-serif;color:black;">Rehearsals this week include Senior concert band Wednesday, again at lunch. Stage bands meet this week as usual.
